What does your typical working day look like?
Working on new features which make our customers happy! I love seeing the feedback we get from what might be small changes but actually take a lot of consideration and work to do.
What's your favourite thing about Popsa?
The people that work here are fantastic. It's such a warm place to work, and the fact that we're all working together to make products which will hold such sentimental value to so many people is so endearing.
What is your proudest moment at Popsa?
The launch of our new app and platform was a really big deal for me.
A lot of the previous projects I have worked on had more of an enterprise vibe – they didn't really have soul like Popsa does.
Working on something like this which is used by real people to preserve real memories is a really special thing, and the build up to our launch included a great deal of work. It wasn't perfect – nothing like this ever is – there were some small road bumps, but what's important is that we've learnt from these lessons and we're continuing to work hard to improve Popsa.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to cook. I'll often scheme with a friend about how we can give up on grown up life and just open up a food shack somewhere – we're well aware that it's a silly amount of work, responsibility and risk though 😬
What’s your favourite food spot around the Popsa Soho office?
What a mean question to make someone answer... there are so many good eats around here! Good Friend Chicken in Chinatown has really good Taiwanese fried chicken. Exactly what you want after a couple of drinks 👼🏻
What is your favourite part of your job?
Solving new technology problems! We're doing some really interesting things behind the scenes and it's a great feeling seeing it come to fruition in the apps and products we print. I can't wait to get stuck into next year’s roadmap.
Something people don't know about you is…
I enjoy karaoke far too much considering how bad my singing voice is.
