The role

As CRM Executive, this is a new role to the Popsa team and an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of countries, audiences and channels to help grow our repeat customer base. It's a hands-on role, shaping the CRM calendar. You’ll work closely with our creative team, coming up with ways to inspire Popsa users to document great milestones and shared celebrations - but also the smaller moments in life.

Our customers will be at the heart of everything you do. You’ll learn more about them & their motivations, personalising our campaigns to increase relevance and improve click through rate.

You'll be the kind of person who can’t wait to look at the results shortly after a send, arriving at kick off meetings armed with ideas to innovate and improve off the back of this analysis. You’ll be confident in presenting your ideas to the rest of the team, and proactive in collating the insights and research to back them up.

You’ll be responsible for making sure our CRM is best in class, keeping on top of trends & best practices to improve our Inbox Placement Rate. Our campaigns go to millions of users, so you’ll need an excellent eye for detail and strong technical skills.


  • Brainstorming new ideas for email and push campaigns and A/B tests with the wider Marketing & Creative Teams
  • Working with the product team to understand new app features, building educational content into campaigns to increase uptake
  • Working with other teams across the business to establish customer motivations and needs
  • Identifying and building customer segments
  • Ensuring CRM campaigns are clearly briefed to the Creative Team
  • End to end campaign execution; building, testing & sending email, push and SMS campaigns in Leanplum (our mobile engagement platform)
  • Analysing data from our CRM and analytics platforms, and reporting back on results
  • Supporting the rest of the CRM team with optimising drip campaigns, growing our Refer-a-Friend scheme, and executing offline campaigns

Required skills/experience

  • 2+ years’ experience in a marketing role, specialising in CRM
  • Solid experience using an ESP/CRM system to create and send B2C email campaigns
  • Good knowledge of HTML & CSS, with the ability to edit existing templates
  • Proactive self-starter, driven and ambitious and always looking for ways to improve and innovate
  • A creative-thinker
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills; confident in speaking up
  • Strong organisation skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Understand email marketing best practice and staying on top of trends
  • Comfortable with analysing data, problem solving and making decisions
  • Strong team player, great at collaboration across a variety of functions

Desirable skills (but not essential)

  • Experience in the mobile app industry
  • Knowledge of German/French or US markets
